Silver Lake
Silver Lake is an artificial lake, 14 km in length, located near Veliko Gradište. It was created when one branch of the Danube was closed on both sides for protection from underground waters, thus creating one of the most popular tourist destinations in Serbia. The sunlight reflecting on the water creates silver-like sparkles, and that is how the lake got its name. Well-kept beaches, a long promenade and the clear water attract tourists in good weather. A large number of cafes and restaurants on the shore make this area very lively during warm summer days.
Beach
There are “free” parts of the beach where visitors can place their towels and there are also parts with deck chairs and sunshades belonging to local cafes.
Aqua Club
This swimming pool complex with an aqua park is near the lake and the promenade and can accommodate over a thousand visitors.
